Wednesday
Board the ship and stay overnight in Luxor. Evening at leisure.
Thursday
Enjoy the morning excursion to the West Bank of Luxor to visit the Valley of the Kings (optional ticket required for the tomb of Tutankhamen). On to the temple of Queen Hatshepsut and a photo stop at the imposing Colossi of Memnon. Lunch on board and the afternoon at leisure in Luxor. Optional evening excursion to the sound and light show at Karnak. Dinner and overnight on board.
Friday
Morning at leisure. Lunch on board and set sail for Esna and on to Edfu. Dinner and overnight on board.
Saturday
Sightseeing of Edfu, and the extraordinary Temple of Horus, the mythical son of Isis and Osiris and on to Kom Ombo enjoying lunch on board. An afternoon visit to Kom Ombo to the temple dedicated to the gods Sobek and Haroeris. Dinner and overnight on board.
Sunday
In Aswan a morning visit to the high dam, an engineering miracle, built in the 1960s, and the unfinished obelisk in its bedrock of pink granite. Short boat trip to the Temple of Philae dedicated to the Egyptian god Isis, lunch on board and an afternoon felucca cruise along the nile to enjoy the views of the Aha Khan mausoleum, Elephantine and Kitcheners Islands. Dinner and overnight on board.
Monday
Optional excursion to Abu Simbel by air or morning at leisure. Lunch on board before setting sail for Esna and afternoon free for leisure. Dinner and overnight on board.
Tuesday
Sail on to Luxor crossing the Esna lock. Lunch on board with an afternoon visit to the East bank temples of Karnak and Luxor. Dinner and overnight on board.
Wednesday
Morning free for leisure with lunch on board before departing the boat.
