The first striking feature of this hotel is its design. The front is as serene with an ornamental pond decorated with urns.  Inside the lobby, the Arabic traditional affect is clear with polished marble floors, columns, arch ways, comy sofas and lots of greenery.

The hotel nestles next to a half-moon cove. There’s a jetty from where you can snorkel in the aquarium-like waters. On the beach there are thatched parasols teamed with wicker sunbreaks. Peace and quiet isn’t in short supply, either. There’s little else nearby apart from neighbouring hotels, with the nearest town, El Quseir, 67 kilometres away.

The pools are set around huge sun terraces that look out towards the bay. While the main lagoon pool is set a little back enabling you to enjoy the peace and tranquility. There is a children's pool for the little ones as well as a kid's club,  playroom and a dinky baby pool. Other facilities include a health club with; gym, sauna, steam bath, whirlpool and jacuzzi. Other sporting activities include;tennis, football, basketball, beach volleyball, arhcery, aerobics and table tennis.

Head into the blue-arched Al Diwan restaurant at breakfast and you’ll find a huge array of dishes to choose from, plus chefs to cook your eggs to order. It’s the same at dinner, with an array of international favourites along with a carvery and outside barbecue.

Standard guest rooms are decorated in  neutral tones, with either twin or a King size bed and a gadren view. All rooms have air-conditioning/heating, satellite TV, telephone, minibar, hairdryer and a balcony. Family rooms are also available with 2 extra beds for children up to 12 years old.
